An unspeakably unacceptable ‘App’ sold by Apple

The Sarah Jane Brain Foundation and its National Advisory Board has, quite appropriately I might add, has called on Apple to apologize for approving  an iPhone application that allowed users to shake an image of a baby to silence it. The application has since been removed from Apple’s offerings. According to news reports, the foundation demanded a “personal apology to parents of SBS victims and survivors from Steve Jobs,” and “a significant effort to reverse the damage they [Apple] have already undoubtedly caused.”
